NEW AI3 Action Institute – Artificial Intelligence for American Indians Application Now Available!

The successful applicant will establish the AI3 Action Institute, which will monitor the pace of AI change, identify responsible and practical opportunities to apply this technology to socioeconomic domains in Native communities, and support its thoughtful integration across Indian Country.

The AI3 Action Institute – Artificial Intelligence for American Indians (AI3 Action Institute) is dedicated to advancing the social and economic self-determination and long-term prosperity of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native American Pacific Islanders, including communities in American Samoa, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The AI3 Action Institute will fulfill this mission by equipping Native communities with the knowledge, tools, and strategic support needed to make informed decisions, responsibly integrate artificial intelligence (AI), and leverage emerging technologies to drive sustainable socioeconomic progress. Through a coordinated, community-centered approach led by the Institute and its staff, AI3 Action Institute will strengthen capacity, foster collaboration, and expand opportunity across the full socioeconomic spectrum, empowering Native communities to shape and lead their own futures in an AI-driven world.
