The Administration for Native Americans has a new Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) that continues the work of the previous Social & Economic Development Strategies (SEDS) grants but is more targeted and focused on driving stronger, more regional impact across the communities ANA serves.
The Economic Advancement Grants for Local Empowerment (EAGLE) NOFO will include business creation through regenerative agriculture, artificial intelligence, energy sovereignty, and human capital development. You can find more details about the EAGLE NOFO below.

The Economic Advancement Grants for Local Empowerment (EAGLE) program promotes the social and economic self-sufficiency of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native American Pacific Islanders from American Samoa, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) is providing funding in five project areas to:
- Grow local economies.
- Support community-based businesses.
- Strengthen Native American families.
- Preserve Native American cultures.
- Improve infrastructure in Native American communities.
- Unleash Native American prosperity.
EAGLE will create paths to economic independence and stronger family units. In alignment with the Make America Healthy Again vision, we embrace the fundamental principle that the best economic program is a job, and the best social program is a family. EAGLE will help children, youth, families, individuals, and communities become more resilient, safe, healthy, and economically secure.

- PA 1: Seventh-Generation Greenhouses (7G2)
- PA 2: Microgrids
- PA 3: Welders to Elders (W2E)
- PA 4: Tradition in Action—A Native Elder Program
- PA 5: Indigenous Designs to Empower and Advance Self-Determination (IDEAS)
