Organizations eligible to apply for Administration for Native Americans (ANA) funding may also receive training and technical assistance from the ANA Pacific T/TA Center. This generally includes nonprofit organizations and certain government entities that serve Native communities.
To be eligible, organizations must:
- Be a nonprofit organization. State nonprofit status is acceptable at the time of application, but organizations must obtain their IRS nonprofit status and be registered in SAM.gov in order to apply for and receive an ANA award.
- Have a Board of Directors in which at least 51% of members represent the Native community being served.
Eligible Native communities include:
- Native Hawaiian
- Samoan
- Chamorro
- Carolinian
- Native Americans
- Alaska Natives
In addition, territorial government agencies in Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa may also be eligible to apply for ANA funding and receive services from the ANA Pacific T/TA Center.
