Native Languages Preservation & Maintenance

The Native Language Preservation and Maintenance (P&M) program funds projects to assess, plan, restore, and implement native language curricula to support community language preservation goals. It aims to ensure the survival and vitality of Native American languages, benefiting American Indian tribes, Native Hawaiians, Alaskan Natives, and Native American Pacific Islanders.
