Thank you for your interest in our 2026 Pre-Application Training! This virtual, two-day training experience is offered in two session options where you’ll learn how to address ANA’s NOFO review criteria, highlight the strengths of your community-based project, and navigate the application submission process.
Day 1: Overview of NOFO requirements and application components
Day 2: With only a 30-day application window, each organization is encouraged to sign up for a 30-minute, one-on-one technical assistance (TA) appointment to receive personalized feedback and workshop their ideas. TA appointments for training participants will be offered on Friday, July 24 from 9:30AM – 4:30PM HST. A scheduling link will be provided after confirmation.

Due to limited capacity, we will not be able to accept walk-in participants. Registration is required and limited to (2) participants per eligible organization.
In this two-day training experience, we’ll go through how to address the common review criteria across ANA’s open Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs), share tips on how to articulate the strengths of your community-based project effectively, and go over the step-by-step process of how to submit an application.
This free, in-person training is funded by the Administration for Native Americans and will be hosted and facilitated by the ANA Pacific Region Training and Technical Assistance Center. Eligibility for this training is limited to public and nonprofit private agencies that serve Native Americans and the Native peoples from Guåhan (Guam), the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Hawaiʻi and Amerika Sāmoa.
